LOCATION: The Hamilton Small Claims Court is part of the Ontario court’s Central West Division and is housed in Hamilton’s John Sopinka Courthouse facility at 45 Main Street East.
PARKING: There is no free parking in the immediate vicinity and no parking on the courthouse grounds. Paid parking can be found at several lots south of the courthouse.

HOURS OF OPERATION: Please note that while the administration office of the Hamilton Small Claims Court opens at 8:30am and closes promptly at 5:00pm counter service is only provided between the hours of 9:00am to 11:00am and 2:00pm to 4:00pm. Note: Court staff are prohibited from giving legal advice. If you require legal advice you should speak with a paralegal or a lawyer.
COURTROOMS: Generally the Hamilton Small Claims Court sits in courtrooms 322 and 324 on the third floor of 45 Main Street East. Adjacent to the courtrooms are private conference rooms and immediately outside of the courtrooms is sitting for parties waiting to attend to matters in the courtrooms.
